Sponsoring the 2008 Kona Earth Festival

Overview

The Kona Earth Festival is West Hawai‘i’s premier environmental festival which encompasses nearly twenty unique events. From April 19th through June 21st, hundreds of West Hawai‘i residents and visitors will attend Kona Earth Festival events to have fun, learn something new, practice ethical stewardship and to connect with like-minded individuals. As a sponsor of the Kona Earth Festival, you get to demonstrate your values in action and let the community know you are a partner in the ethical stewardship of our land and sea.

Our Goals

The purposes and goals of the Kona Earth Festival are to:

• Raise awareness of and respect for environmental issues through fun and productive activities and events
• Bring practical solutions for sustainability to the public and decision makers in the community
• Invite visitors to West Hawai‘i to share these enlightening experiences
• Raise funds for environmental organizations in West Hawai‘i
• Implement, recognize, and honor successful sustainable practices in the community... all to take place in a culturally appropriate manner.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Kona Earth Festival offers the opportunity for overall festival sponsorship or individual event sponsorship. A major local media campaign including radio, newspaper, web, signage and posters, as well as recognition at events, will let the community know of your involvement. All donations are tax deductible.

Ali'i Sponsor - $10,000

• As the Ali'i Sponsor, your name will be linked as the "Title Sponsor" for the Kona Earth Festival in all print, radio and web promotions - "The Kona Earth Festival presented by [YOUR COMPANY]"
• ½ Page ad in a special Festival publication of the Hawaii Island Journal
• Category sponsor exclusivity
• Name and logo on event banner at all events
• Organization name and logo on website banner at konaearthfestival.org
• Recognition announcement at all events
